SOOOOO!! Big news! At least for me
I might be going to Japan on an exchange this summer for around 4000$!! My parents already filled out the basic membership and fundraising cost So I'm pretty much for certain going! *dance* w00t!
Anyways, as awesome as it is, I wanted to ask you guys about something else: selling keychains here, as well as possibly doing commisions.
Now, the resoning for this is that I need the money for the trip, but also because I'm hoping to get my friend to go-her parents say that they won't pay for it, but she thinks that if she can get the money together herself, they won't have a problem. I know, not the greatest plan, and pretty naive and unrealistic, but honestly---there's no real harm in doing it. We wanted to get reseme's together and apply for part-time or something, and then do millions of bakesales or something. Maybe if she shows them how dedicated and set on this she really is, they'll agree to it.
But my point was that I was going to try to do little keychains-probably just high-quality prints sealed under plastic lamanent or something. I'm willing to do any characters people especially wish for, but wil probably be doing a wide range of fanart chibis. You know, like those at artist's alley in Anime North or somehting. Possibly buttons too, or shirts (I've been meaning to experiment, so I might as well, right?)
Oh, and they'd probably be... a buck or two. not sure---what would you guys accept? Would you be willing to buy them? I could post picture of them after I'm done them, cause I'll be selling them here at home, to friends and family. YEAH! w00t!
Sooo.... oh yeah, about the commisions... not really gonna happen unless anybody's nice enough to commision me for five $ It was Sarah's idea.
